Hi there. I am an on-demand content marketing pro.
I help organizations plan, produce and publish engaging, purposeful content. On every project, my goal is to articulate your brand value in a clear, crisp way that people can relate to. Clients bring me onboard to produce content and copy, as well as help plan content marketing programs; from positioning and messaging for a new product to omnichannel content strategies.
My consultative approach to content marketing is culled from a 20 year career in publicity, marketing communications, and copywriting. My career kicked off in the publicity departments at MCA Records and EMI Records, Los Angeles, and then shifted to interactive entertainment. At KillerApp Communications, I managed media relations for pioneering interactive divisions at major entertainment studios, like MTV and Viacom. I returned to the Northwest to direct publicity at Sierra Entertainment—publisher of some of the best-known computer games—and then joined Amazon as founding editor/content manager of the video games category. Most recently, I ran the content services at R2integrated Seattle, a digital marketing and technology agency.
I’ve crafted content programs, brand positioning and messaging campaigns for dozens of globally-recognized brands, including Bluetooth, Nintendo, Intel, Cisco, Microsoft, and Lenovo.

Directed media relations for Sierra Studios. Spearheaded publicity campaigns for iconic PC game brands, including Half-Life, King’s Quest, and Gabriel Knight.

Managed publicity for high-profile brands at the first-ever public relations agency devoted to interactive entertainment. Accounts included DreamWorks Interactive, Warner Bros. Interactive, Paramount, Inscape, MTV, Simon & Schuster, Virgin Interactive Entertainment, and Viacom New Media.

Supported Publicity Director in execution of media campaigns for album releases and national tours. Roster included Spinal Tap, Tragically Hip, Oingo Boingo, Live, Queenryche, Blur, Jon Secada, Belinda Carlisle, Gang Starr. Managed fanzine and college press relations.  Handled media passes/coverage for west coast tours. Accompanied artists on  junket/TV/radio appearances. Arranged artist events and album launch parties.
